Asia, a return to displaced roots

MY PHOTOS CAPTURE SIMPLE DETAILS OF EVERYDAY LIFE, GIVING THEM NEWFOUND SIGNIFICANCE.

Born to a Chinese mother and a European father, with Madagascar as my birthplace. This diversity has shaped my perspective, but it’s in Asia that I truly feel at home. Drawn to forms, textures, and graphic contrasts, I move away from conventional aesthetics to reveal the raw character of Asia. I enjoy playing with these elements, reinventing them to transform them into objects of reflection.

My eye is drawn to shapes and textures, to the graphic contrasts that emerge from the banal. In this series, I'm moving away from conventional aesthetics to focus on the rawness of Asia, on those little things that, in isolation, reveal their full meaning. I like to play with these elements, extracting them from their context to reinvent them, transforming them into objects for reflection.

Body language
In this series, I have captured the natural elegance of Asian gestures. Each figure stands gracefully, transforming their movements into a soothing ritual where time seems to stand stilL. harmony between body and spirit, a silent beauty.
